My name is Lucy Sopher. I am an aspiring research psychologist.
With cultural roots in Australia, Hungary, Iraq, and England, and as a granddaughter of refugees, I am fascinated by intercultural communication and connection. My mission is to dissolve barriers between people with empathy, understanding, and service.
I have a range of interests. From interviewing subjects for a study to pitching an app idea to a tech incubator, my goal is to take findings from research and turn them into something that can be utilized by the general public, specifically in traditionally underrepresented communities.
Beyond research and volunteer work, I am also a squash and track & field athlete, and I am passionate about developing my hobbies some of which include photography, pottery, and writing.
